About Us

The United States Army Warrant Officers Association, Arizona Silver Chapter was Incorporated as a "not-for-profit" Association in Southern Arizona in 1972. As stated in the Articles of Incorporation, the USAWOA was established to:

  • Foster a spirit of patriotism and devotion to duty among members, commensurate with the high ideals of the Army and our position therein.
  • Recommend programs for the improvement of the Army.
  • Disseminate professional information among warrant officers.
  • Promote the technical and social welfare of our members

This association holds the title as the oldest USAWOA chapter in the Western Region.

WHAT IS A SILVER CHAPTER?

Like all USAWOA chapters, it had to start someplace and our someplace was right here at Ft Huachuca back in 1972. Because we are one of the original chapters chartered the year USAWOA was formed, we have the distinction of being one of just 4 surviving 'Silver Chapters' -  world wide -- and the only one in the western region.

The European Region only has 2 remaining while the Southeast Region only has one left

  Congratulations Arizona Silver Chapter
for 38 years of service to all warrant officers and their families - Active, Guard, Reserve and Retired.
